Terrorism a growing menace

After World War II, most of the nations in Europe,Russia and Asia suffered heavy losses in terms of human lives, economy and destruction of houses,factories, hospitals and historical monuments that stood centuries. This left bloody massacre of over 50 million humans including soldiers and civilians.The world war II ended with nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nakasaki in Japan in the year 1945. Though, World war started with personal feuds and egoism of different races which gave birth to bloody war that lasted more than 6 years. Then, whole world witnessed the start of cold war between US and erstwhile USSR that lasted for more than 45 years. This had led to lot of indirect conflict between these two nations in different parts of the world. During that period slowly emerged an ugly head called holy war in the name of religion known as terrorism. Now terrorism taking lives of many innocent people all over the world. Young people are being brainwashed and trained to attack countries practising other religions or people following other religions in their own country. This led to many bomb blasts or gun shootings killing many lives including political leaders. Intolerance and hatred are the main causes of this form of fighting. Other causes include social inequalities,poverty and so called clergies or self appointed leaders mis-leading the youth. Terrorism cannot be won by killing terrorists or their leaders. Terrorism can only be eradicated by love,peace,brotherhood and humanitarianism. This is achieved only by trust among various religions,respecting their culture and tolerance between different religions. Terrorism is a growing menace and should be eliminated at any cost. |
